Bethlehem Church is a vibrant and rapidly-growing church in Bethlehem, GA whose existing facility quickly became inadequate for the needs of their ministry. The church purchased a 38-acre site just two miles from their existing main campus in order to plant new roots within their community. In the fall of 2021, they selected Equip Studio to masterplan and design a new campus for the main congregation.

Bethlehem has very community-driven DNA and desires to love and serve its community well. The new campus will host a 75,000 sf. main building with a 1,800-seat main worship center, a naturally-lit primary lobby space with 28 ft. ceilings and striking wood accents, a coffee service space, and a spacious admin wing. In addition, the highly secure kids space and special needs ministry (Buddies) include more than enough classrooms to welcome more families within the community. The campus also includes an adjacent 15,000 sf. student building that will double as a community center for various events throughout the week. The space between the 2 buildings will serve as outdoor gathering space including a front plaza, highly designed courtyard, and large green space for outdoor events and youth games.

Equip has also been able to help the church renovate their existing main campus that will be taken over by Bethlehem Christian Academy after their departure. Bethlehem also has two satellite campuses that will eventually be renovated in order to keep up with the pace of their growth and to expand the design refresh to those respective campuses.

The main campus design is currently in progress with plans to break ground in early 2023 and an approximate 18 months of construction before opening its doors.
