Mason Blackwell

Mason joined the Equip Studio team in October 2020 after graduating from Clemson University with a Master of Architecture degree. He grew up in the small mill town of Iva in Upstate South Carolina with a population approaching 2,000 (excluding the cows). Mason is excited to be working in a more urban environment at Equip Studio where he can grow in his experience of architecture and the built environment in a practical setting.

Mason is passionate for all things music: consuming, transcribing, arranging, and playing through a variety of instruments (ranging from acoustic guitar to piano and ocarina). He shares this passion with the rest of the worship team at Grace Church Downtown, here in Greenville, where he is a member. He also enjoys graphic design, whether static (such as t-shirt design) or in motion through 2D + 3D visualization and animation.
