With hearts for service and a strong desire to see lives change, Journey Church sought to create an environment where their church family could blend more cohesively within their community. They engaged Equip Studio to design a singular facility to accommodate their growing educational and food distribution ministries on their existing campus. Efficiency became a high priority for all aspects of this project. The design includes a 3,800 sf. grocery store-style food pantry, a 1,500 sf. lobby, a 300-seat auditorium, and several support spaces. The structure makes use of a monoslope pre-engineered building with insulated metal panels which blend seamlessly with the existing church structure. Construction was completed by Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC in a stunning 5-month build.
